Keith is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona, and also is licensed as a General Securities Representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers, and holds an Arizona Life and Disability Insurance license.  He also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He passed the 3-day CPA examination in May, 1988, immediately after graduating from the University of Arizona.  He received a Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting from the U of A.

Keith began in public accounting as a staff accountant with a local CPA firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  He quickly advanced to Senior Accountant and worked on a wide variety of tax and audit engagements.  After meeting experience requirements, Keith was granted a New Mexico CPA certificate in October, 1989.

While in New Mexico, Keith also began to assist clients with their retirement planning, especially with corporate pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) programs.

In January, 1993, Keith accepted the audit manager position at a local Tucson, Arizona CPA firm.  He also obtained reciprocity of his CPA certificate after passing an ethics examination, and thus became licensed to practice public accounting in Arizona.

Keith's 6 years with that CPA firm gave him further experience in tax, accounting, and financial planning matters.

Throughout his career Keith has attended continuing education courses to further his ability to advise clients.  He has attended hundreds of hours of seminars with topics such as taxation of individuals, retirement planning, financial accounting standards, personal financial planning, etc.

Keith has also been a frequent speaker at seminars.  He has presented at locations both within and outside of Arizona, including engagements in Ohio, Louisiana, Nevada, and even Cancun, Mexico.  Topics have included Tax-Deferred Investments, Wage and Salary Issues, Cost Accounting, and Tax Minimization Strategies.

Professional memberships include several professional organizations with stringent criteria, as well as local community organizations:

He has served in various officer and director positions.  Currently, Keith is the Treasurer of 10-10 International Net, Inc., a non-profit membership group with worldwide membership.

In addition to his CPA business, Keith enjoys spending time with Pam and their 3 children, especially outdoors in the beautiful Tucson climate.  They like to go running, bicycling, and hiking.  Keith also enjoys making friends around the world on his ham radio, and loves to spend time stargazing in Arizona's clear night skies.
